Chapter iii: Season 2, also known equally Season 20, was the twentieth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale. It started on March 20th, 2022 and ended on June 4th, 2022 with the Collision Live Event.

The title of the flavor was Resistance, and focused on the war between The Vii and the Imagined Gild, mainly from The Seven's perspective.

Previously, in Fortnite...

Post-obit the invasion of Apollo past The Last Reality and the arrival of 3 members of The Seven on the Island, the Island was flipped to reveal a make new Island on it's flipside, consequently destroying The Bridge. The Imagined Order resurfaced from the other side onto the new Isle and set their new base of operations on it, before drilling underground and causing severe seismic activity to occur on the Island.

How Did It Start

Doctor Slone resurfaced with The Fortress Drill in the Island and officially alleged war against The Seven every bit she and the Imagined Order launched an invasion on Artemis, but not without a fight. Maximilian and 4 other Loopers were some of the many that engaged the Order's incoming siege drills, riding in Scientist-modified Boxing Buses as The Seven and the Loopers launched a resistance against the Imagined Order.

The Storyline

The Mech destroyed more shields, tanks and drills, when the B.R.U.T.Es from Season X got deployed from the Imagined Social club, the Mech destroyed even more tanks, drills and shields especially the B.R.U.T.Es. Jones and The Foundation took down the shield surrounding The Collider and the Mech activated information technology's Blade Strike fashion. The Mech striked at the gainsay blimps with information technology's bract and then it attempted to destroy The Collider, merely and then the lesser of The Collider exploded and the Loopers ejected it. The Loopers landed at the bottom of The Collider and they met upwardly with Jones, Slone was there too and tried to stop Jones and the Loopers from stopping them. The Zippo Betoken shifted realities to the real globe where the Durr Burger statue was, then information technology shifted realities to the Star Wars Reality where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader were doing a lightsaber battle. The Paradigm was working on the Mech and trying to become it back online, she somewhen got information technology online and eliminated Slone and helped the Loopers, Jones and The Foundation with the Mech. The Collider's crystals were reaching out to the Goose egg Point, the Loopers destroyed them and The Collider collapsed. The Paradigm saved the Loopers with the Mech by putting the Mech'south hand on summit of the Loopers. After this, Affiliate 3: Season 3 started.

• The behemothic drill causing Earthquakes and sinkholes to happen around the Island has resurfaced with its dorsum door open, it is named The Fortress and it is located w of Loot Lake.
  • A military camp in the Happy Camper landmark was destroyed in the procedure.
• A new communication edifice and a Blimp docking station accept been built above Covert Cavern, now renamed to Command Cavern.
• A Seven workshop, where The Scientist develops weapons for the war, has been constructed in the desert, information technology is named Synapse Station. It is currently upgrading a Battle Jitney. The upgrade is existence funded by Loopers through Donation Stations.

• The Imagined Gild has built a dam east of Loot Landing, creating a base of operations surrounding their newly built Doomsday Machine, The Collider.
  • Huntmaster Saber and Doctor Slone have moved to The Collider.
  • Due to the dam, the rivers flowing through Sleepy Sound and the Sanctuary have stale.
• A room with a Holotable and vents locked through a metal door has appeared inside Command Cavern.
• Several pocket-size The Seven outposts have been fabricated around the craters about Tilted Towers.
• The Star Destroyer has left alongside the Royal Stormtrooper patrol points.
• Another container has appeared on top of Impossible Rock.
• Another crashed car was added to the Automobile wreckage e of Coney Crossroads.
• The Stone Family has crossed the route and have moved to the outskirts of the Jungle near the Desert and started building a subcontract in there.
• Peely has moved to a truck conveying a Slurp truck.
• May 20th - 21st: The Collider has charged and released energy beams into the heaven.
• May 22nd:
  • The Collider has charged and released a energy beam into the heaven.

• Building was supposed to return on March 29th, but the playlists with building remained disabled until April 2nd.
• This was the second Fortnite season to start on a Sunday, the first being Chapter three: Flavour 1.
• No teasers were released for the season, potentially due to the state of war theme congruent with the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine.
• This was the first Fortnite flavour to vault Building (excluding Loonshit and Team Rumble).
• Yous could still get Materials in a Glitched Vending Auto at the starting time of the season, only it was hot-stock-still later a few days.
